Our main mission, as a company involved in mining development, is maintaining a positive relationship with the community. Since our founding, we have rooted ourselves into the community and have actively worked to protect it with the hope for mutual prosperity. This is a fundamental principle that has been passed down for many generations at Tanaka Sekkai.

Our contributions to the community include employment of the disabled, factory tours and environmental education programs for elementary school students and the local neighborhood association, and local cleanup projects. We hope to continue contributing to the community in other aspects in the future.

Employment for people with disabilities

Since 2001, we have contributed to the local community, actively employing people with disabilities. As of present, 6 staff members with developmental disabilities work alongside our other employees. With positive impacts for both parties, we hope to continue contributing to the happiness and welfare of our community.

Factory tours, environment lectures, and visiting lectures

With over 4,000 visitors to our factory in the first half of 2016, we regularly hold tours for lime manufacturing and plastic recycling.

Local cleanup projects

We are active in local cleanup projects and use these opportunities to communicate with the community.
